Back in the states!
The past 13 days, touring Italy, Greece and a small part of Turkey has been sensory overload. I'm dreading repeating all the stories to friends and family, because I know I won't be able to do justice to how thoroughly awesome the experience was.
Now that I'm home and have the next few days to relax and recuperate, I've been reading over the journal I kept along the way and it's pretty spiffy; I'd like to share it with others who may be interested in the things my group and I have experienced these last two[ish] weeks! It should be a better translation of what's going through my brain when those memories waft through. (Waft? Is waft a cheesy word there? How about prance? Worse right? or fanangle? Is fanangle even a word?)
Anyway, it'll be a mix of the things I jotted down and accompanying pictures. It'll be organized according to the days. The posts will be the sites we saw, stuff we ate and boats we threw up on, but I'll be tossing in a personal thought or opinion that won't necessarily reflect what was going on in the head's of my travel-mates.
Piacere! [Unless Google has led me astray, that should mean enjoy, in Italian!]
